LUNEUR PARK
The oldest Italian amusement park , among the top 5 in Europe, was built in 1953 by the Autonomous Universal Exhibition of Rome for the Agricultural Fair and made permanent on the occasion of the XVII Olympics in Rome in 1960.
Always in the collective imagination of the Romans, the amusement park has continuously represented the meeting place and entertainment of entire generations for over 50 years, until, in 2008, it was closed for modernization and restoration works.
Surrounded by greenery, it is a true garden of wonders suitable for children and families, rich in hundreds of species of plants and trees , with paths, experiences and educational workshops dedicated to the values of eco-sustainability, biodiversity and environmental awareness and a total of 21 attractions .
The most nostalgic can get excited with six completely renovated historic attractions, including the Brucomela , the Jumbo , the romantic carousel with horses and the Ferris wheel with its 28 colorful gondolas, considered one of the symbols of the city.
The park is a place to experience in all seasons: the Splash Zone , an expanse of water of over 2100 square meters, and the large spaces for those seeking sun and relaxation in the summer , parties and themed events – Halloween, Carnival, foam parties, light shows or stilt walkers, clowns, jugglers and contortionists all year round, and charming Christmas villages . Furthermore, in the park there are numerous food points , designed for all tastes: from the traditional hamburger to delicious fried food; from savory hotdogs to crispy pizza; from the classic pasta dish to the fresh salad, up to the delicious desserts and ice creams.
